Echo
(2015)
Installation
A and T sit, facing each other.
A repeats T‘s mimics and vice versa.
Between them: two cameras.
One camera captures A‘s, one captures T‘s actions.
The resulting videos are projected vis-à-vis and synchronous.
The preconditions of performance are questioned. Performative materiality is detached from the performers‘ bodies and re-created through the installation.
Performative space evolves between the projections and gets connected to the bodies of the viewers.
