The flat in the Capistrangasse has been in the hands of the family for 30 years. Signs in the hallway are a daily reminder of the flat‘s history as a psychoanalytical practice. In the years following the flat was inhabited by aunt and uncle. Turrrini, Goldoni, Büchner, Bernhard, Shakespeare, Introduction Into Literary Science in German being left behind.
Consequently it was a shared flat. Different people left their marks and traces.
The space is the antithesis to the white cube. It‘s never empty. What is the narrative of 30 years of post-modern life?
